The Sarasota County Bar Association is taking applications for the Richard R. Garland Diversity Scholarship, which is a great chance for students to earn a $5,000 scholarship and a paid internship in Sarasota. The scholarship is open to law students from under-represented minority backgrounds and aims to foster relationships between law students and the Sarasota legal community.
In addition, the Florida Coastal Diversity Committee is available to provide information about housing for students that do not have ties to the community. Copies of the Scholarship Application Form are available in the Career Services Department.
